You do not need to register on this site to make use of the information it presents. The purpose of registering is to add information to the site. Additional material (data or documents) submitted by registered users will first need to be approved by one of our administrators.
To register, click on “Registration” under Resources, found in the right column under Site navigation, on the menu bar above. After filling in the form and pressing the “Sign up” button on the lower right of the form, simply follow the instructions sent to your e-mail address.
Please look at entries already on the site before submitting information.
Sources. In submitting data to the site, use the best sources of information. Most Internet sources are unreliable and cannot be used. QuartetWeb can give guidance in this question.
For your submitted data, be copious in including reference sources. Internet sources, if any, should include the date you consulted them. Recording references should have the label (company) name and full catalog number.
After you’ve added information to the data base, your temporary data will appear with a yellow background, and your permanent data with a white background. Data added by other users appear with a white background.
Other possibilities. You may change information you’ve submitted while it remains temporary. Sending images of documents can’t be accomplished via the method described above. They require e-mail communication directly between you and QuartetWeb.
