1922–30: Vienna Quartet (Wiener Quartett); 1927–44: Kolisch Quartet. Rudolf Kolisch probably changed the name in 1927, although both names are found on programmes into the 1930s.
From 1941 to 1944, the Quartet membership (violin II, viola, and cello) changed frequently.
